Our temporary home

Here's some shots of our temporary home for the month of January. We're almost directly behind Mike's mom Cathy. It's great to be home with family! And, haha, our home is the house, not the shed. The park is right across the street, perfect to run the dogs!

 
 
 

Dallas to Lompoc!

Here are a few shots of the drive from Dallas to Lompoc. That DVD player was way necessary :) Our wonderful friends Art and Robin Russell who drove with us the bulk of the trip (they flew back home from Phoenix so we only had one day on our own). Talk about life savers!

Day 1: Dallas to El Paso
Day 2: El Paso to Blythe (after quickly dropping Art and Robin off at the Phoenix Airport)
Day 3: Blythe to Lompoc!

This was Noah's "bed" on the last night in Dallas. She actually really liked it!

 

Chaucer's friend

As we were packing the apartment Chaucer found a doggy-friend in the mirror. He was wondering how to get him out to play. He kept looking behind the mirror and sat there for 15 minute increments, ha!
