The fluffs...

Mmmmhmmm.... yes.... who invented these basket fluffs? I'd like to have a word with them.

(Btw, LOVE THE BASKET, G'MA!! It's worth the fluffs in all their glory.)

Home Depot and other updates

Mike will be starting at the Home Depot next week. Yay!! He's had his final interview today and is helping out at one of our churches to plant spring flowers. What a beautiful day! Noah, Ellie, and I are enjoying the day at home baking and catching up on our blog (okay, Noah isn't really doing all that, but she's helping!).

Yes, it's a pacifier...

Yes, you're right, that's for babies. But Ellie is only about 10months old! We'll have to wean her of the pacifier soon enough.

Haha, just kidding. She stole Noah's old retired "Chupa" from a bucket of toys. I managed to snag this photo with my camera.

An old friend.

I have pulled out my old, OLD camera, the faithful warhorse! It's probably almost as old as I am :) Anyway, as you can see, it takes beautiful REAL photos - with film and everything! I'm enjoying playing with the lenses and good old fashioned things like aperature and lens speed. Without a working light meter it's an experience, but it's all part of the fun.

Spring

Hello!

Spring is blooming in all its beauty, here in Dallas. Trees are coming ablaze with beautiful blossoms and flowers are decorating the grounds of the parks. Many trees are sprouting the first green of spring - a welcome change for us Californians who aren't used to a majority of desiduous trees! Winter was pretty in its own way - but spring is glorious, fresh, and alive!

This round of photos are from our favorite little park. It's in a back corner and we are almost always the only ones there. AND, introducing Ellie!! Ellie is our sweet retreiver-mix. She's fast as lightning and as gentle as can be. Still learning a lot (and still a mischevious puppy!), we're working hard to train her up and enjoy her. She is Noah's constant source of amusement. These buddies roam together and play together and even get into trouble together. Ellie is faithful to watch over Noah and is very upset if we get separated at a park.
